Östtimorkommittén skickade den 30 maj

president nedanstående gratulation till honom (den engelska

To: José Ramos-Horta The Swedish East Timor Committee warmly congratulates you for being elected as president of Timor Leste. We hope that the clear victory will give you a mandate to work for the best of your society during the following five years. It is encouraging that both rounds of the presidential election were held under peaceful conditions. It is or hope that also the June 30 parliamentary elections will be free and fair and conducted peacefully with dignity.
